**This is an ONSITE role located at 605 Territorial Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440**
*Standard work hours are Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm CT (plus some overtime/weekends)*
Summary/Objective:
The Operator I, Bindery is responsible for bindery related activities such as cutting and folding in our Bindery Department.
Essential Functions:
Operating and set up of guillotine cutters and folders.
Perform emergency equipment maintenance as required.
Perform daily maintenance specific to bindery device.
Complete department tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communication and operations.
Data entry of jobs being processes in Amsive ERP (Monarch)
Communicate with Lead /Supervisor/Manager and Team
Assist in special duties and projects as required by Management.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to document regular activities and e-mail correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.
Aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.
Ability to work independently.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
Security Clearance: Amsive is Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
