What we are looking for:

The Project Manager, Technology plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of software and solutions engineering projects. As a key member of the Development Services team at Amsive, the Project Manager collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to drive project delivery, manage resources, and maintain project momentum. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and an understanding of software development processes.

What you will be doing:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with business analysts, product owners, development teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable tasks and user stories.
  • Facilitate requirements for workshops and document functional specifications.
  • Regularly communicate project status, updates, and risks to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct status meetings, project reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships.
  • Allocate resources effectively, balancing workload across the team.
  • Collaborating with technical leads to assign tasks and track progress.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of team members’ skills and expertise.
  • Oversee testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams and end users to validate software functionality.
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and change logs.
  • Prepare executive summaries and presentations for leadership.
  • Track project deliverables and milestones.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project goals.
  • Monitor project budget and resource utilization.

Who you are:
           
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of common project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level familiarity with systems commonly leveraged to support channel execution by Marketing Services agencies, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data processing software (e.g., BCC Ignite), or document composition software (e.g., Quadient Inspire).
  • High-level familiarity with tools and products in the Microsoft stack that are frequently leveraged by the Development Services team, including Azure services and infrastructure, SQL Server, and C# .NET is preferred.
  • Project management certification or equivalent project management experience is preferred.
