What we are looking for:

Amsive is seeking a Digital Shelf & Ecommerce Content Manager to support product content excellence across retail ecommerce platforms. The manager will help drive discoverability, engagement, and conversion through optimized product content. This role will own the management, optimization, and syndication of product information through Syndigo and other digital shelf technologies. The Digital Shelf & Ecommerce Content Manager will ensure product detail pages are accurate, complete, compliant, and optimized for both retailer search algorithms and the shopper experience.

Working cross-functionally with Amsive’s SEO, Content, Analytics, Retail Media, and Commerce teams, this individual will develop and execute digital shelf strategies that improve product visibility across retailer websites and support broader commerce growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of ecommerce merchandising experience, digital shelf management, SEO knowledge, attention to detail, and project management skills.

What you will be doing:
Digital Shelf Management
  • Manage end-to-end product content syndication through Syndigo and related platforms.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Syndigo, ensuring accurate and timely content distribution across retailer networks.
  • Maintain and optimize product detail pages across retailer ecommerce websites, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart, and other retailer platforms.
  • Monitor content health, completeness, publication status, and retailer compliance across supported channels.
  • Identify and resolve content errors, missing attributes, image issues, taxonomy challenges, and retailer content rejections.
  • Coordinate product launches, seasonal updates, packaging changes, and content refresh initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain scalable workflows, governance standards, and quality assurance processes to support future client growth.
Ecommerce SEO & Content Optimization
  • Partner closely with Amsive’s SEO team to develop product detail page optimization strategies that improve product discoverability across retailer search environments.
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, key features, attributes, metadata, taxonomy, and rich media content to maximize organic visibility and conversion.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analyses to identify opportunities for improved search performance and content enhancement.
  • Implement SEO-informed content recommendations while balancing retailer requirements, brand guidelines, and shopper experience.
  • Collaborate on testing initiatives to evaluate the impact of content changes on search visibility, engagement, and sales performance.
  • Stay current on retailer search algorithms, ecommerce SEO trends, and digital shelf best practices.
Product Information Management
  • Manage product attributes, specifications, imagery, videos, enhanced content assets, and taxonomy structures within Syndigo.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to collect, validate, and organize product information prior to syndication.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards across product content.
  • Establish documentation, training materials, and best practices for ongoing content management.
Cross-Channel Commerce Collaboration
  • Work closely with SEO, Retail Media, Analytics, Creative, Content Strategy, and Client Services teams to align digital shelf strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Retail Media teams to ensure product detail page content supports paid media efficiency, conversion, and ROAS objectives.
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to measure the impact of content quality, search visibility, and shopper engagement.
  • Conduct regular calls with key retailers to review performance, identify opportunities, and ensure the latest innovations and best practices are being utilized.
  • Support integrated commerce planning initiatives by providing digital shelf expertise and recommendations.
  • Participate in client presentations, strategic planning sessions, and business reviews.
Reporting & Performance Analysis
  • Monitor digital shelf performance, content quality, compliance, and search visibility metrics.
  • Develop recurring reports and dashboards highlighting content health, syndication status, product detail page quality, and optimization opportunities.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve product discoverability and conversion performance.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on retailer performance data, competitive insights, and digital shelf analytics.
Client Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders on digital shelf strategy, ecommerce content management, and retailer best practices.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic recommendations.
  • Support new business opportunities and onboarding efforts for future digital shelf engagements.
  • Help establish Amsive’s digital shelf center of excellence and best practices framework.

Who you are:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital shelf management, ecommerce merchandising, product content management, ecommerce SEO, or a related commerce role.
  • Hands-on experience with Syndigo or similar PIM/content syndication platforms.
  • Experience managing product content across major retailer ecommerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of product detail page optimization, ecommerce merchandising, and retailer content requirements.
  • Working knowledge of ecommerce SEO, retailer search optimization, keyword strategy, and content performance best practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large product catalogs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working with CPG brands and omnichannel retail environments.
  • Experience with digital shelf analytics platforms such as Nielsen, Profitero, Edge by Ascential, Data Impact, Salsify, CommerceIQ, or similar solutions.
  • Familiarity with retailer ecosystems including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart, and grocery retailers.
  • Experience working in an agency environment.
  • Knowledge of retail media, ecommerce search algorithms, and conversion optimization strategies.
  • Experience developing content governance frameworks and operational processes.
