**This role is ONSITE working at 605 Territorial Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440                        3:00pm - 11:30pm**

Summary: The Mail Inserter Operator, Lettershop is required to operate mail and lettershop production equipment. While meeting productivity standards and performance requirements in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, Operating and Maintenance
  • Able to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
  • Able to set up basic jobs
  • Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
  • Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
  • Self-motivated individual who strives to improve and continually achieve better results
  • Trouble-shoot equipment
  • Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
  • Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
  • Reconciling/recording for all output
  • Accurately use job data capture to track time

Quality

  • Strong quality of work
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
  • Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
  • Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
  • Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent attendance record and punctuality
  • Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets
  • Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Security Clearance:  Amsive is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.

Body Positions: Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day

intermittent walking, standing.

Body Movements: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands & fingers to handle or feel objects, bending, reaching with hands and arms, and crouching.

Body Senses: Must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing, speech and touch.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, distant vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Strength: Occasionally must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position will spend most of their time working in a production area that is relatively loud with limited time in a professional office environment. This position frequently requires overtime and weekend work.  Travel is infrequent.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm
