Summary/Objective:
The Lettershop Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing the insert team. Leads operations team of hourly employees within the mail inserting area to ensure product meets quality, budgeted hours, materials, and output requirements. Responsibilities include making sure projects / products meet customer specifications, delivery requirements, schedule, and company policies. Other duties include ensuring employees in your area of the plant stay compliant with safety, work procedures and inform managers on all important issues that may impact quality, job schedules, cost, safety, and run machinery when necessary.

Location: 124 Pointsett Hwy. Greenville, SC 29609
Work Hours: 7pm - 7am rotating days with expected additional hours/weekends mandatory.
Pay: Starting at $24.00/hr based on skills and experience

Essential Functions:
- Lead the Lettershop/ Mail Inserting Department
- Operate and maintain mail inserting equipment.
- Troubleshoot mail inserting equipment related issues.
- Handle both cut-sheet and roll paper stock jobs.
- Execute production schedules in the department for insert area
- Communicate effectively with Lettershop/ Mail Inserting Manager
- Collaborate with Prepress, Print, and Mail teams on imposition and workflows recommendations.
- Follow all written instructions in job tickets, general work instructions, and operating standards.
- Perform production quality verifications per the standard operating procedures.
- Operation and set up of inserting equipment including but not limited to cutting, accumulating, folding and inserting.
- Perform daily maintenance as required and assist with emergency maintenance specific to device.
- Perform production record/sequence verifications steps on all variable jobs.
- Complete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communications and operations.
- Data entry of jobs being processed in ERP for labor tracking, material usage and productivity numbers.
- Collaborate and Assist department managers to effectively meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed to meet goals.
- Perform job duties in compliance with company regulatory standards.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of continuous work experience (preference in mail industry or print industry) at a lead or supervisor level.
- Effective process management and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to document regular activities and e-mail correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.
- Aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently while leading a team.

- Must be able to be able to stand, walk, stoop for at least 12 hours/day
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
