Summary:
Analyze production processes to ensure best practices are being used and implemented. Ability to use standard quality tools (e.g., process mapping, root cause analysis) to identify opportunities for process improvement.  Design training for production personnel using best practices. Participate in and lead process improvement projects. Work with managers, supervisors, and operators to address and correct process gaps.  Must ensure client-specific specifications are being incorporated into all processes.  Provide documentation and training on new and updated procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Providing orientation and/or training to temporary employees and new hires.
  • Providing effective feedback to employees and supervisors.
  • Assessing and closing production training gaps.
  • Using Lean concepts to identify process improvement initiatives.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to measure process improvement.
  • Leading root cause analysis teams using standard quality tools.
  • Making presentations for training and projects.
  • Creating policies, procedures, and processes using Amsive document control system.
  • Identifying and actively solving problems discovered during daily operations.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education/experience required 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production procedures
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
  • Understanding of problem-solving methodologies
  • Ability to lead and work as part of project teams
  • Ability to develop and document policies, procedures, and processes
Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.

Security Clearance:  Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
