Work location is 605 Territorial Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (plus some overtime/weekends as needed)
Hourly pay starting at $16.00/hr based on skills and experience

Summary/Objective:
The Outbound Dock Material Handler – Skid Wrapper is responsible for preparing finished product for shipment by accurately wrapping, labeling, and staging skids on the outbound dock. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product integrity, shipment accuracy, and on-time delivery. Forklift use is limited and not a primary function of the role.


Essential Functions:
  • Wrap finished skids using stretch wrap or automated wrapping equipment to ensure load stability and protection
  • Verify skid contents against paperwork or shipping documentation
  • Communicating with Mail Lead to verify mail loads
  • Identify non-conforming USPS mail/job issues and escalate to Lead/Supervisor
  • Communicating with shipping, production, and dock leads regarding priorities and shipment readiness
  • Keep outbound dock areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • Manual pallet movement using pallet jacks
  • Support general dock operations during peak shipping periods
  • Minimal forklift operation: may have forklift tasks only as needed after certified
  • Primary material movement is performed using pallet jacks or manual handling
  • Communication using English; bilingual applicants preferred
     
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse, production, or shipping experience preferred
  • Experience with skid wrapping and pallet staging a plus
  • Must be available to work overtime as business needs require.
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required.
  • Bilingual Spanish in reading, writing and speaking preferred.
  • Proficient with internet research and MS Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to read and follow shipping documentation
  • Basic math and attention to detail
Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisor responsibilities.

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
