What we are looking for:

Amsive is currently looking for an Email Production Manager to join our Email Marketing & Services Team. This position will be managing daily operations of the email execution channel –the production queue, email design and html coding strategy, building and deployment of email campaigns, as well as the A/B testing setup, data management, and reporting. The Email Operations Lead will be a super user within Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to oversee the end-to-end production process to ensure proper setup, tracking, and measurement is implemented to meet client expectation. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, strategic thinking, organizational, and leadership skills while being an active contributor identifying opportunities to improve the email execution process.

What you will be doing:
  • Oversee the end-to-end email production process and daily.
  • Manage a team of email developers to ensure the team meets client goals and expectations.
  • Build and manage automated email marketing programs for our clients and ensure end-to-end tracking and proper measurement.
  • Utilize SFMC and manage external email service providers to build, schedule and launch daily campaigns.
  • Pull campaign performance reporting for the account team.
  • Work with cross functional teams to resolve customer issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate team members.
  • Create and update product documentation.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on email campaign and web production operations – distribute, create, communicate and apply best practices and learnings to continually improve results.
Who You are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in email development or comparable work experience is strongly preferred.
  • 4–5-year experience in email development and end-to-end campaign management.
  • A proven track record of being detail-oriented with a desire to publish the best final product for clients and business stakeholders.
  • Tech- and web-savvy with the ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Highly creative problem solver and resourceful self-starter that isn't afraid to roll-up their sleeves and get things done.
  • Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment within deadlines while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Impeccable quality assurance skills and is highly organized.
  • Accountability for meeting deadlines while producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship building.
  • Comfortability working with clients via telephone and email to answer questions, research and resolve issues with a varying degree of difficulty.
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the team and with cross-functional partners and/ or vendors.
  • Experience leading a team and strong history of managing several projects at once.
  • Strong understanding, development, and troubleshooting skills for table-based HTML email, comfortable working directly in code (HTML, Inline CSS, etc.) is required.
  • Email automation and knowledge of email best practices is required (marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud are strongly preferred).
  • Mobile and email marketing experience required, with responsive HTML design experience preferred.
  • List management (list segmentation, suppression lists, etc.) and basic data management experience (pulling data, cross referencing, importing, and maintaining subscriber attributes) preferred.
  • Photoshop skills helpful (promo, banner, image creation and enhancements) is strongly preferred with experience with tools like the Adobe Cloud Suite & Figma.
  • Additional Skills Ampscript, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3, SQL Query Language, Microsoft Excel and/or Access, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator), Figma, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or other major ESP like Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable).
