*This is an Onsite role located at 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440*

*Hours are Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm CT plus scheduled overtime*


Summary / Objective:

The Quality Control Auditor - 2nd Shift will have a high attention to detail and the ability to learn, retain and relay to all associates USPS regulations. Must learn, understand and communicate quality processes to ensure adequate verification for all processed materials. Quality inspections and quality issue reporting are tools used to provide feedback and training opportunities within the process.  Works with shift supervisors to address and correct quality problems.  Must ensure all procedures and client-specific specifications are followed and verified. 

Essential Functions:  
 

  • Inspect work performed in both Digital Print and Lettershop. 

  • Provide feedback to employees and supervisors on quality audit checks. 

  • Report all quality problems into the QC module in DirectLink. 

  • Identify and actively solve problems discovered during inspection process. 

  • Maintain and report records related to Errors and On-Time Delivery in a timely fashion. 

  • Participate in the analysis of the information captured and help develop processes or procedures to address where appropriate. 

  • Assist with the reprint and accountability process. 

  • Enter deficiencies in the verification process into Quality Issues log in Direct Link (ERP / MIS) 


Skills, Experience and Qualifications:  
 

  • 2-3 years of Quality Control experience 

  • High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education/experience  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures  

  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Aptitude in decision-making. 

  • Very high level of attention to detail.   

  • Ability to navigate computer and network locations 


Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees. 

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility. 

Physical Demands:  

  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 

  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions. 


Security Clearance:  Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
