Summary/Objective:

The Project Manager, Operations is a key member of the Operations department, responsible for supporting client relationships through planning and executing all aspects of large format printing. The Project Manager ensures that all aspects of projects are fulfilled correctly, error free, and on time.

Essential Functions:
 
  • Organize and manage the production process of small, medium and large projects from receipt to completion.
  • Average of 30+ job lines per week entered.
  • Communicate effectively with Sales Executives to fully comprehend project scope.
  • Maintain timely communication throughout project production with clients and Sales Executives via telephone and email.
  • Construction of project estimates in our ERP.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to research and collect pricing of materials needed from supplier vendors.
  • Acquire and analyze all art files necessary to fully execute print production.
  • Establish project priorities and graphic standards for all projects related to assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate all print production and distribution of customer materials.
  • Maintains a professional working relationship with all associates, leads, managers and technicians.
  • Participate in daily production meetings.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by management.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
 
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator, large format printing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent mix of education paired with relevant experience in similar role. 
  • Able to be a team player through relationships, cross-training and back up other teams’ members as needed. 
  • Ability to learn and understand the USPS regulations for the Print, Direct Mail, Direct Marketing, Advertising and Business Services related industry. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application software. 
Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.
 
Work Environment: This job routinely functions in a standard office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
