Production Maintenance Supervisor

Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Work Hours: 7am - 5pm, with expected additional hours/weekends/on-call mandatory.
Pay: Starting at $45, per hour based on experience and skills
What we are looking for:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the facility's maintenance department, ensuring all production and building equipment operates at peak reliability and efficiency. This individual oversees a team of mechanics across skill levels and shifts, balancing reactive break/fix response with a proactive, structured preventative maintenance program.
What you’ll do:
Lead day-to-day activities of the maintenance department across all shifts.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventative maintenance (PM) program.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex equipment failures.
Establish and manage a work order system to capture, assign, and close maintenance requests.
Partner with production supervisors to schedule maintenance around production windows.
Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, third-party vendors, and parts suppliers.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Monitor key maintenance metrics and report findings and trends to leadership.
Conduct root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
Recruit, onboard, and develop maintenance personnel.
Support capital equipment projects including installation and commissioning.
Who you are:
7+ years of progressive industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
2+ years in a supervisory role.
Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience building or managing a structured preventative maintenance program.
Familiarity with CMMS and work order platforms.
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or vocational certification preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises Maintenance Tier 1 and Tier 2 mechanics.
Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility
Physical Demands:
Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment
Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
